This CONSIGNMENT AGREEMENT is between the “Artist,” as defined below, and the Lake Oswego Festival of the Arts.

Artist will deliver to the Festival a work of art created by the Artist, which the Festival agrees to accept on consignment for sale on a commission basis. The terms and conditions of this consignment agreement are as listed below. The submitted piece must be original in concept, design and execution. No copies or manipulations of other artists’ work in any medium. No mechanical copies (laser, giclee, etc.) will be accepted except for computer generated art and photographs.

All work must be for sale or otherwise marked by Artist with “NFS”. Artwork will be displayed at the curator’s discretion.

1. Submitted art will be for sale at the above listed price or artist will type NFS on the line marked “Price” in their Online Application.

2. Registration Fees are waived.

3. Submitted art may be sold for cash if not marked NFS. If the said work of fine art is sold for cash, Dealer is to retain 20% and shall remit 80% to Artist within thirty (30) days.

4. All work on paper must be matted or mounted on mat board with a border no larger than 3” in any direction. All work on canvas must have a wire secured across the back. All sculptures must be able to stand-alone or be ready to hang.

5. All artwork from each participating teacher must be delivered to the students’ instructor no later than June 2, 2023. Please contact Angie if you need to make other arrangements by emailing festival@lakewood-center.org

6. If said work of fine art is not sold, the student’s art teacher agrees to pickup all artworks from their teacher after the Festival has closed, after June 26, 2023.

7. The Festival shall not be held liable for the loss of or damage to the work if artist or his/her teacher fails to remove the work August 1, 2023. The Festival’s right to sell the work of fine art shall continue, however, until the work is actually picked up.

8. The artist has given permission to use their images for publicity purposes for the Lake Oswego Festival of the Arts for 2023 and future years.
