Reiniciar campo auto_increment

Tenho uma tabela em um banco de dados chamada "categoria", e nela tem um campo chamado "id". Naesta tabela eu fiz alguns testes de inserção, update e exclusão, com isso, o campo "id" perdeu a sequência numérica que vinha seguindo. A minha pergunta é: tem como reiniciar esta sequência para que fique: 1,2,3,4,5,6...?
